the spoon the spoons bowl starts to bend and break off. You pick up
the bowl and place it back against the stem, at that same instant the spoon
is completely restored to one solid spoon again. You again hand
the spoon out to be examined. Again both hands are empty.

This spoon bending effect can be done immediately
after the first effect has been performed with the same spoon still in your
hand from effect number 1 again handing the spoon out for examination and
return you hold the spoon in your hand and the stem of the spoon starts to

won the IBM Originality Trophy in 1951. It was based on a 2-rope routine by
Hen Fetsch. Later, the effect was marketed by Gene Gordon, who came up with
